The Technical Support Specialists will provide support to end-users for a variety of technologies, including hardware and software for computers, mobile devices, phones, printers, peripherals and more. This can also include network connectivity, access control and credit union specific applications. This person will troubleshoot and resolve these issues to ensure end user satisfaction as well as proper operation of all technology within the environment.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Provides first level support to credit union staff on for issues with computer software and hardware, mobile devices, phones, printers, peripherals, network connectivity, access controls and credit union specific applications
• Assist in maintaining, troubleshooting, and upgrading hardware and software systems. This includes computers, servers and other network equipment.
• Maintain inventory of computer hardware and log services performed/repairs, return equipment to vendors for repair or replacement when needed.
• Complete project based work as needed including hardware refreshes and deployments
• Create and update documentation on IT processes and procedures
• Requires some occasional travel to other branches in Wausau/Weston area to complete onsite tasks.
• This position requires rotational on-call time and occasional evening and weekend hours. Generally is a Monday-Friday positions with hours varying between 7 am to 5 pm.
Experience & Qualifications:
• Minimum of 2 years experience supporting IT issues for end users in a business environment
• Associates’ degree in Information Technology, or a related field preferred
• Proficiency with applications like Microsoft Office 365, Windows Operating Systems (Desktop and Servers) and Active Directory
• Strong communication and problem solving skills.
